About Us

The Northern Beaches Navy Dragon Boat Club (NBNDBC) was formed in 1997 and has competed with great success in Mixed, Womens, Mens, Open and Masters races since this time.

The NBNDBC train on Sunday mornings and Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Manly and on Tuesday and Friday mornings at Garden Island, from October (after daylight saving). From August up until October (before daylight saving) we train at Manly on Sundays only. Further information on train sessions can be found in the 'Join' section of this website.

The NBNDBC caters for all ages and we pride ourselves on being very sociable as well as competitive. By "sociable" we mean regular BBQ's, bowling, movies, paintball, picnics. The NBNDBC club is currrently made up of Ozzies, Kiwis, Poms, Scandinavians, Chinese, you name it - we may have it. The NBNDBC welcomes all new paddlers who want to paddle in the tranquil surroundings of Manly Cove and surrounding Sydney Harbour side beaches.
